DAVID B. MISCHAK concentrates his practice in the area of criminal defense, and divides his time among local, state and federal courts. His clients have included entertainment figures, executives, professionals, athletes and law enforcement officers. At the local level, Mr. Mischak has successfully defended individuals charged in high profile homicide cases and narcotics cases. In his federal practice, Mr. Mischak has successfully represented individuals in complex criminal cases including corruption and white-collar matters. From 2005 through 2008′ Mr. Mischak was selected as a Pennsylvania Rising Star Super Lawyer” by Philadelphia Magazine.
From 2010 through the present, Mr. Mischak has been selected by his peers as “Super Lawyer” by Philadelphia Magazine for accomplishments in his criminal practice. In 20l4, Mr. Mischak was named to the Top 100 Trial Lawyers by the National Association of Trial Lawyers and in 2015, The National Association of Distinguished Counsel elected him to the Nation’s Top One Percent Club.
Mr. Mischak is admitted to Practice in the Commonwealth Pennsylvania, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Additionally, Mr. Mischak has tried cases in the United States District Court of New Jersey and the Superior Court of New Jersey. Mr. Mischak is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and seryes on the Steering Committee of the Young Lawyers Division of American Bar Association White Collar Crime Committee. Mr. Mischak received his Bachelor of Arts I)egree from Muhlenberg College in 1990 and his law degree from Temple University in 1993.
