David B. Mischak is both a criminal defense and civil litigation trial attorney. Mr. Mischak litigates and tries cases in both state and federal courts.

Mr. Mischak’s clients have included entertainment figures, executives, professionals, athletes and law enforcement officers. Throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Mr. Mischak has successfully defended clients charged in high profile homicide cases, corruption and narcotics cases. In his federal criminal practice, Mr. Mischak has successfully represented individuals in complex criminal cases including corruption and white-collar matters.

Mr. Mischak is admitted to Practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Additionally, Mr. Mischak has been specially admitted and tried cases in the United States District Court of New Jersey and the Superior Court of New Jersey.

Since 2010, Mr. Mischak has been selected by his peers, and published in the Philadelphia Magazine, as a “Super Lawyer.”  This selection acknowledges his accomplishments in the courtroom. Mr. Mischak was named to the Top 100 Trial Lawyers by the National Association of Trial Lawyers and in 2015, The National Association of Distinguished Counsel elected him to the Nation’s Top One Percent Club. Mr. Mischak has served as a guest lecturer at local universities and frequently serves as a guest judge at national mock trial competitions.

Mr. Mischak is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Pennsylvania Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the Federal Criminal Law Committee for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the American Bar Association White Collar Crime Committee. Mr. Mischak received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Muhlenberg College in 1990 and his law degree from Temple University in 1993.
