Richard Kravets is an experienced attorney with an impressive trial record and an impeccable reputation within the legal community. Mr. Kravets prides himself on achieving the best possible outcome in each of his cases. Mr. Kravets maintains a successful criminal defense and complex business litigation practice in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and now serves as Of Counsel to McMonagle Perri where he handles criminal defense matters throughout Pennsylvania and in the State of Florida.
Formerly, Mr. Kravets served as an assistant district attorney in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, where he prosecuted hundreds of cases involving misdemeanor and felony charges, including juveniles, represented victims in protection from abuse hearings, and was also charged with reviewing and approving criminal complaints, search warrants, and affidavits of probable cause during police investigations.
Notably, while in office, Mr. Kravets successfully argued, on appeal, a highly contested police procedural issue, thus overturning a magisterial district court’s prior ruling. Following his transition to private practice, Mr. Kravets has built a stellar reputation for criminal defense, evidenced by his extraordinary client reviews.
Using his business acumen, developed by being a small business owner and master’s in business degree recipient, Mr. Kravets has successfully litigated business matters in Philadelphia Municipal Court and the Court of Common Pleas. In doing so, Mr. Kravets has represented both plaintiff and defendant companies in complex civil litigation and breach of contract matters involving six and seven figure transactions.
Notably, Mr. Kravets used his unique set of abilities to achieve a favorable outcome for a Florida client in his claim for breach of oral contract and assault against a high-profile socialite in Palm Beach County, Florida, which was highlighted in the Miami New Times publication.
