(Philadelphia) – Eight attorneys from McMonagle Perri McHugh Mischak Davis have been named to the 2024 Pennsylvania Super Lawyers list, a peer-reviewed rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas. Additionally, two partners received additional notable designations from the ranking service.
- Brian J. McMonagle, who has been named to the Super Lawyer list annually since 2004, was recognized for his outstanding work in criminal defense. He was also named to the “Top 100” list of attorneys in both the City of Philadelphia and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
- Fortunato N. Perri, Jr. has been selected annually to the Super Lawyer list since 2005. He was named for his criminal defense and personal injury work, and was also named to the Top 100 for both Philadelphia and Pennsylvania.
- Walter J. McHugh was named for his work in family law, general litigation, and personal injury. He has been selected to the Super Lawyer list annually since 2005.
- David B. Mischak has been selected to the Super Lawyer list annually since 2010 for his criminal defense and white-collar criminal defense work. Previously, he was named on the Rising Stars list from 2005-2008.
- Bill Davis has been named to the Super Lawyer list since 2021. He was recognized for his work in criminal defense and personal injury. He also leads the firm’s Pennsylvania Personal Injury practice group.
- Charles M. Gibbs was named to the Super Lawyers list for criminal defense and personal injury work. He has been designated on the Rising Stars list annually since 2012.
- Steven B. Patton was recognized on the Rising Stars list for the second consecutive year, for criminal defense and personal injury.
- Richard J. Kravets was named to the Rising Stars list in the areas of criminal defense and business litigation, also for the second straight year.
The selection process for Super Lawyers involves a comprehensive evaluation, including a statewide survey of lawyers, independent research, and peer reviews by practice area. This methodology ensures the selected attorneys have demonstrated exceptional legal prowess and a commitment to delivering outstanding results for their clients. Each year, no more than 5 percent of the lawyers in the state are selected as Super Lawyers. Additionally, no more than 2.5 percent of attorneys are recognized as Rising Stars; these are attorneys ages 40 and younger or in practice less than 10 years.
