Rich Kravets Joins MP

(Philadelphia) Richard J. Kravets has joined McMonagle Perri McHugh Mischak Davis in the role of “Of Counsel.” He will be working exclusively in the firm’s criminal defense practice, expanding McMonagle Perri’s work in Bucks and Montgomery Counties.

Previously, Kravets served as an assistant district attorney in Bucks County, PA, where he prosecuted hundreds of cases involving misdemeanor and felony charges. He frequently represented juveniles and victims in protection from abuse hearings. While in office, Kravets successfully argued, on appeal, a highly contested police procedural issue, thus overturning a magisterial district court’s prior ruling. He also reviewed and approved criminal complaints, search warrants, and affidavits of probable cause during police investigations.

Kravets is a graduate of Temple University and St. Thomas University School of Law. He is a recipient of the 2022 Lawyers of Distinction Award and is listed as among the Top 40 Under 40 of the National Trial Lawyers Association for Criminal Defense. Kravets is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and Florida. He is also fluent in Russian.
