(Philadelphia) – Eight attorneys from McMonagle Perri McHugh Mischak Davis have been selected to the 2023 list of Pennsylvania Super Lawyers, the rating service of outstanding lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Two are on the top 100 attorney lists of both Philadelphia and Pennsylvania.
Each year, no more than 5 percent of lawyers from more than 70 practice areas in the commonwealth are named to the Super Lawyers list. The Rising Stars list, for attorneys aged 40 or younger or in practice less than 10 years, recognizes no more than 2.5 percent of attorneys in Pennsylvania. The annual selections are made using a patented multiphase process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates and peer reviews by practice area.
- Brian J. McMonagle was recognized for his outstanding work in criminal defense. He has been named to the Super Lawyers list annually since 2004. He was also named to the Top 100 lists of both the City of Philadelphia and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
- Fortunato N. Perri, Jr. has been selected annually to the Super Lawyers list since 2005. He was named for his criminal defense and personal injury work. He was also included in the list of the Top 100 attorneys in Philadelphia and Pennsylvania.
- Walter J. McHugh was named for his work in family law, general litigation, and personal injury. He has been selected to the Super Lawyers list annually since 2005.
- David B. Mischak has been selected to the Super Lawyers list annually since 2010 for his criminal defense work. Prior to that, he was named to the Rising Stars list.
- William M. Davis Has been named to the Super Lawyers list since 2021, recognized for his work in criminal defense and personal injury. He is chair of the firm’s Personal Injury Litigation team.
- Charles M. Gibbs was named to the Super Lawyers list for criminal defense and personal injury work. He has been designated a Rising Star annually since 2012.
- Steven B. Patton was recognized on the Rising Star list for criminal defense and personal injury.
- Richard J. Kravets was named to the Rising Stars list in the areas of criminal defense and business litigation.
